there's really a foosa in there

what a relief! i feel so blessed :) little foosa is measuring right on track - 8 weeks, 4 days, and has a strong heartbeat! will took a video of it, which i'll try to post later, and replayed it for me as a distraction while they were taking my blood. i still passed out. sheesh, i need to get this together ;) oh well, i'm just so darn happy :)

the foosa is a growin'

i awoke yesterday morning to a temp spike, headed to the bathroom, got a big "yes" staring me in the face, then proceeded to fly out of the bathroom at 5am shouting "we're pregnant!". will shot up in bed with a big grin "really???"

so that wasn't how i envisioned telling him - i had a cute idea all set, but that went right out the window. oh well :)

we're due april 30, 2011. making me 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant. here's my first photo taken this morning before our workout (and myles, the camera stud, of course had to be in the shot).


i'm getting random waves of nausea at this point and i was thrilled to discover prenatals come in gummy form. we told my family yesterday with these adorable onesies:

we're going to tell will's parents this week and hold off on telling the rest of our friends & family until we get closer to the 2nd trimester.

i guess that's it for now :)

a whoosa?

that's right - talks of a wee foosa have begun and, true to form, i'm jumping the gun and starting up the ever-popular baby blog. stop eye rolling, william ;) i'm fairly certain this cart-before-horse blog won't come as a shock to any friends/family who find this down the road. i'm ready and excited to chronicle the good, bad and ugly of our foosa-growing adventures, whenever they happen to actually begin.
